Within the frames ofcelebrating the 200-th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Lermontov, the State museum-reserve "Peterhof" has prepared the outgoing exhibition project "M. Yu. Lermontov: Peterhof. Poet. The epoch" to travel to three Russian cities, namely: Lipetsk, Penza and Tambov.

On April 25 the exhibition was opened at Lipetsk regional art museum.

The exhibition embraces several sections: "Peterhof in the epoch of Nicholas I», «Peterhof holiday", "The Imperial Family reads Lermontov", "The year 1812 in the works of Lermontov and scenarios of the power", "To play one more stake ... ".

The exhibition is organized with the participation of the Institute of Russian Literature of Russian Academy of Sciencies, the Military and Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineering Arms and Signal Corps of the Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation and the State Archive of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition in Lipetsk is open till 25 June, 2014.
